Spring 2013—Water and Florida's Future

Speakers from government, industry and the environmental community gathered during the Frey Institute's Spring symposium to discuss a welter of questions about water quality, water supply and its management and conservation. Cynthia Barnett, journalist and author, gave the keynote address. Speakers included persons from several of the state's key water management districts, utilities, the Florida Farm Bureau and a key conservative group presented their view. Lee Constantine, former state senator, presented an impassioned speech to protect Florida's key natural resources matched by equally impassioned views of others advocating a balanced approach to water management in the state.
